Max gives his Day One PS5 System Impression. Is it everything he expected?
The staff at LivionGames are split on the PS5. Granted, only one of us was able to get their hands on the system, but we all had our opinions on the anticipation factor. As to be expected, our owner Dave is the guy lucky enough to snag Sony’s newest console, and his Day One PS5 system impression is…it’s okay. Here’s what our boss had to say…
We recently posted a short article from one of our staff members sharing his opinion on the new system, which sparked a heated debate here in the office. Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion – that goes without saying. The problem here is, he didn’t actually play the game. He only witnessed some game footage online like most people.
I had a chance to play Demon’s Souls and Spider-Man Miles Morales and I’ll say this. The gameplay and graphics are great. There’s a little more to Demon’s Souls than to simply chalk it up to being the “same game”. Spider-Man did not disappoint. I like the PS5 consoles’ design and slick controller. But this is not a must-have. I usually like to wait a few months before purchasing a new system so the company can work out the kinks.
Under normal circumstances, I would’ve waited to get the PS5. Their library is not big enough to subsequent a new console purchase just yet. But that’s just my opinion.

That’s what our boss thinks. Another guy we’re all interested to hear from about this is one of our favorite game YouTubers, Maximillian Dood. Max’s eccentric reactions are very entertaining and tend’s to shed a light on the hardcore gamers’ expectations of new games and systems.
Tell us what you guys think when you get your hands on the new PS5!
